1. Service and eligibility
Mock Interview Tools provides AI-assisted interview preparation at mockinterview.tools. You can prepare from your own resume or a sample, join a live voice practice session, and review feedback. The service is for people aged 18 or older.
The service is a practice tool. Scores and suggestions are not hiring decisions or professional advice. Review AI output before relying on it.
2. Account and your material
Google sign-in identifies your account. Keep your account secure. Submit only material you are entitled to use and remove confidential information that is unnecessary for practice.
You keep your rights in material you submit. You allow us and the service providers named in the Privacy Policy to process it only to provide the practice features you request. We do not use your material to train our own models without a separate choice from you.
3. Free trial and paid passes
An eligible account and browser may claim one seven-minute free practice session. Eligibility is checked as described in the Privacy Policy.
A single pass costs USD 13 before any tax shown at checkout. It provides three live interview starts, each lasting 10, 15 or 20 minutes as you choose. Each start uses one credit. Credits expire 30 days after payment confirmation. This is a one-time purchase; there is no subscription, automatic renewal or automatic top-up.
The pass is delivered to your account after Waffo Pancake confirms payment. A return to our website by itself does not confirm payment. Waffo Pancake operates the checkout and processes the card transaction.
4. Refunds
Paid passes are digital services delivered after payment confirmation. We do not offer a general change-of-mind refund. Contact us about duplicate charges, a successful payment without delivered credits, or a service failure caused by us that prevents you from using purchased credits. We provide refunds where required by applicable law.
Contact us using the support address shown above and include your account email and Waffo transaction or order ID. We will verify the request and coordinate any approved refund with Waffo Pancake. A completed refund removes the corresponding unused credits. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
5. AI and voice providers
Requested analysis and reports use APIMart. Live sessions use LiveKit, Deepgram and ElevenLabs. Their availability can affect a session. We will not invent an interview result when an answer was not captured.
The current model identifiers are GPT-4.1 for preparation and resume analysis, GPT-4.1 mini for the live text interviewer, and GPT-5 for the final report, accessed through APIMart. Live speech is transcribed with Deepgram Nova-3 and synthesized with ElevenLabs Flash v2.5. LiveKit transports the audio; it is not the text or speech generation model. We will update this disclosure when the models used by the service change.
6. AIGC acceptable use and content safety
This policy applies to your resume and prompts, spoken answers and transcripts, and AI-generated interview text, reports and speech. Do not ask the service to generate, or use it to distribute, any of the following six categories:
1. Sexual or pornographic/NSFW content; 2. graphic violence or gore; 3. hate speech or content that incites discrimination or violence against a protected group; 4. child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors; 5. non-consensual deepfakes or impersonation of a real person; 6. content that infringes copyright or trademarks.
We also prohibit content that promotes terrorism or mass violence, instructions for weapons of mass destruction, unlawful material, privacy violations, attempts to bypass safety checks, service interference, and presenting AI feedback as an assessment by a real employer. The service is intended for interview practice, not general-purpose content creation.
Our application checks submitted text, transcribed answers and generated text before using or speaking it with Meta Llama Guard 3 8B through Cloudflare Workers AI. This automated check can miss violations or flag permitted material by mistake. We also review content reports sent to support@mockinterview.tools; a person assesses reported cases and requests to review a block. We do not claim that every session receives a separate human review.
If we detect or confirm a violation, we may block the request or output, end a session, remove affected content, warn the user, or limit or terminate access according to severity and repeat behavior. We may report serious unlawful content to competent authorities where required. To report content, include the relevant page or interview ID and a brief description in an email to support@mockinterview.tools; do not email illegal material itself. Use the same address to appeal a moderation decision. We will assess reports and appeals case by case and respect applicable paid consumer rights.
7. Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy at https://mockinterview.tools/privacy explains data handling, service providers and your choices. We may update these terms and will publish a new effective date and give notice of material changes through the website or your account email before they take effect.
